Training Payday Promise

When Griff Lasley makes a promise to his employees, he is going to stand by it – and pay up. The owner of A & I Parts Center in Stratford, Texas is a firm believer in lifetime learning and the long-term benefits it provides for his organization and employees. To incentivize his entire team, Lasley challenged them to “bankrupt” him by completing online training courses through HDA Truck Pride University and tying them to extra compensation.
At the end of the eight-week challenge, the company paid out more than $90,000 to his employees and had record sales the very next month. “I wanted it to be a year-end challenge, I wanted to pay out higher holiday bonuses. More importantly, I wanted our team to understand how training leads to higher sales. We had a record sales month following the month of focused training. The payout was just the icing on the cake.” said Lasley. “We couldn’t have done it without the University and being able to monitor and measure what our guys are doing.”
HDA Truck Pride University offers more than 1,000 courses from industry partners and gives credit for attending the course. Many courses also offer assessments that are graded in real-time.

Now I find myself indebted to Griff for this unreal investment.
I have now the need to muster all my beliefs in doing what's right by reviewing and revisiting these courses and sharpening my skills so as to turn a profit for the man who has so graciously believed in me.
