HDA Truck Pride CEO Inducted To Hall Of Fame

During a ceremony at HDAW 2020, HDA Truck Pride CEO, Don Reimondo was inducted into the Heavy Duty Hall of Fame. As the Hall of Fame’s 14th inductee, Reimondo joins an exclusive group of commercial vehicle professionals to be recognized for their contributions to the industry. Each year, only one person is selected to join the Hall of Fame.

With more than 40 years devoted to the commercial vehicle industry, Reimondo has not only built a reputable career and stunning resume, he’s also mentored countless individuals and organizations. His character precedes himself and his work ethic echoes throughout the industry. Don is known throughout the industry as a leader, mentor and friend.

While accepting the Hall of Fame honor; Reimondo thanked his family, his mentors – like John Minor of Midwest Wheel who presented him with the award, and his current team at HDA Truck Pride. “I’m humbled to be included in the list of past honorees,” said Reimondo. “Thank you to the industry that built my career, this is an incredible honor.”

Reimondo began his career as a graduate of Northwood University, by taking a sales position with Walker Exhaust. He’s held leadership roles within Federal-Mogul, Affinia and HDA Truck Pride. He has served on the Board of Directors of several industry organizations, including the Auto Care Association and the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN). He currently serves on the Board of Governors at Cleary University in Ann Arbor, MI, as well as the Automotive Aftermarket Advisory Board at Northwood University.

Reimondo will retire as CEO of HDA Truck Pride on May 1, 2020. He will become the Advisor to the HDA Truck Pride Board of Directors. Reimondo resides in Brighton, Michigan with his wife Karen of more than 45 years. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports including golf, fishing, hunting and boating.
