HDA Truck Pride Makes Great Strides with 2023 Annual Meeting in Denver, CO

With over 760 attendees, HDA Truck Pride members, supplier partners, key industry guests and staff gathered for its Annual Meeting in Denver, CO to not only celebrate a strong year of continued growth and partnership, but also provide a clear vision for the journey ahead. A journey that focuses on collaboration, learning and engagement.

The week kicked off with an opportunity to tour the impressive campus of one of the nation’s top Diesel Technology shops – the WyoTech Technical School in Laramie, WY. Our members had the opportunity to engage first-hand with several talented diesel technician students preparing to enter our workforce. As the talent shortage continues to rise, HDA Truck Pride is leading the recruitment charge to create awareness and excitement for our industry.

But of course, that was just the beginning. Delivering an emphatic keynote address, Dirk Beveridge, Founder of UnleashWD and Executive Producer of We Supply America, set the stage for how everything in our business is being redefined – employee expectations, the customer experience, technology adoption – and how it is ultimately up to us as business owners and leaders to continually redefine our paths to relevance and winning in today’s age of disruption.

Increased energy and excitement ensued as the week progressed with collaboration amongst the membership and suppliers, insightful discussion and strong engagement throughout education sessions addressing critical issues facing our business.

Thanks to the support of partners, Cummins Meritor and Phillips Industries, an extremely meaningful highlight of the entire event included the HDA Truck Pride family of members, suppliers and guests, joining together one evening to assemble 450 blessing bags for the Denver Rescue Mission and local Ronald McDonald House. The philanthropy continued with the HDA Truck Pride charity golf outing raising over $5,000 for the University of the Aftermarket Scholarship Foundation to support the education of the next generation of our workforce.
